The goal of the Beginner's class is to help you and your dog learn how to work together toward a mutually fulfilling relationship.

Skills worked on in this class are walking on leash without pulling, sit, down, sit stay, random recall, turns (left/right).  Other commands introduced are the "leave it" command and the "off" command - both are useful in every day settings.  

Having a well socialized dog will pay off when you and the puppy are at some else's house or when other people are at your house.

For entry into this class the dog need only be 6 months of age or older and be current on its shots.
